Required Health Insurance

NDNU requires that all Residents of Campus Housing, all International students, and all Student Athletes have accident and sickness insurance. Students in these categories must either enroll in the NDNU Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan or complete a signed waiver form and submit it to H&W Services prior to the first day of class. If the insurance fee appears on your billing statement, it means you did not waive its purchase. You will be covered by the policy and will be held responsible for payment. If you do not want to be covered you must submit the waiver form by August 27, 2008.  Students must have insurance in order to move into Campus Housing. A new waiver form must be submitted annually or after a break in studies.

NDNU Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan

Download or review the 2008-09 NDNU International & Domestic Student Accident & Sickness Insurance Plan brochure. The cost of the annual premium is $1179 (Effective 8/01/08-7/31/09); Fall only is $536 (8/01/08 through 1/13/09); Spring/Summer is $638 (1/14/09 through 7/31/09); Summer only is $254 (5/18/09 through 7/31/09). The charges will only be removed if a waiver form is received by H&W Services by August 27, 2008 (January 14, 2009for Spring transfer students).
